As a known real estate developer, Mr. Tsakalos received numerous phone calls about the need for a laundromat to serve the Sandwich area. And more than just an entrepreneur, he is part of the community, so he always thinks and cares a lot about the best for everyone. 

After all those requests, the idea to open the today knows as Liberty Laundromat started, but Mr. Tsakalos came across an issue. Title 5 of Sandwich's Board of Health Regulations says soapy water cannot be drained into the ground in Heritage Park Plaza because it is within a water recharge area. Therefore, hired engineers investigated this issue then recommended that any water generated from this type of business had to transfer to holding tanks and disposed of at offsite treatment plants.

Above all of this, our commitment to the environment was always fundamental and essential. Everything requested was made, and in 2010 we were ready and proudly inaugurating the Liberty Laundromat and Dry Cleaning Services.
